Components replaced
If parts need replacement, only HP OEM approved parts are used, and components are replaced based on test results and economic repair evaluation.

- HP Certified Refurbished EliteBook 840 G8 has estimated up to 64% lower carbon footprints, respectively, compared to purchasing an equivalent first-life device. All environmental impact calculations present in this report are based on life cycle assessments (LCAs) prepared in accordance with ISO 14040 & ISO 14044 and have an element of uncertainty inherent in all LCAs and are to be considered directional in nature. The product carbon footprint is based on global assumptions and a product lifespan of 4 years. Refurbished products are compared with new equivalent products (EliteBook 840 G7 vs. HP EliteBook 850 G9).
- Certified Refurbished HP EliteBook 840 G5, G6, G7, G8 and 850 G8 product models come with a 1-year HP Limited Warranty (1/1/0) that covers 1-year parts and 1-year labor. Onsite service is not included. Additionally, support for Refurbished HP Printers is available as part of a Managed Print Services Contract.
