How secure is purchasing on the web?
Our Website is a secure site and you will be able to tell if you are in secure mode when a little padlock appears at the bottom right of your screen. Your credit card details are encrypted to prevent anyone accessing them, this includes members of our staff and public. When you type your credit/debit card number into our secure site the information you type in will be encoded and our server decodes it. In layman's terms this means that anyone "listening" to traffic en route will not be able to make sense of the number.
Furthermore, if you are a UK resident using a UK issued card for a transaction over £100 you are automatically protected by Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. This means that if a trader fraudulently charges your card for something that you did not order then the credit card company are equally liable for the debt. In practise this means that the credit card company would refund you for the fraudulent charge. Given the above, in practise putting your card details into a secure Internet site are much safer than giving them over an unsecured telephone line.
Can I place an order by telephone?
Yes, you can order by simply calling our Sales Team on 0208 200 2000.
Can I collect goods from a TechnoWorld site?
Only some items can be collected by special arrangement. Please call our Sales Team to request this and to schedule a collection date.
If I have a problem with a product that I have ordered from you, how do I get help?
If you have any technical queries, we would recommend that you first call the product manufacturer - usually they will be better-equipped to answer your technical questions.
Alternatively, contact our Customer Support Team and they will be happy to try and solve any other issues.
I would like to find out more information about a product, what do you suggest?
In the event that you cannot find the relevant information on our site then we advise you to visit the manufacturers site to obtain more detailed information.
I have just received my order but there is no VAT Invoice?
An invoice will be sent out via email, and should be received in the next working day.
I have been sent the wrong item, how do I report this?

Order Cut-off Times
TechnoWorld's product delivery is subject to a daily cut-off time of 4pm each working day.
Please call our dedicated Customer Support Line on 0208 200 2000 at the earliest opportunity, and we will confirm with you whether arrangements can be made. Normally, once goods have entered the shipping process, order cancellations are not possible.
